Undergraduate College Science Scholars Present Their Research

Three of the six College Science Scholars presenters on October 21, 2011 were Chemistry Majors.

Ryan Loomis conducts research in Brooks Pate Laboratory and the title of his talk was “Laboratory and Interstellar detection of ethanimine in SGR B2(N)”.





Jacqueline Hodges conducts research in Linda Columbus’ laboratory and her talk was entitled “Characterization of Opacity-associated protein-receptor binding utilizing synthetic membrane mimics”.








Julia King conducts research with Barry Condron in the Biology Department and her talk was entitled “Kick-Starting the Brain: Trigger Neurons Involved in Emergence from Coma”.
