Computer Science

Graduate level courses in  Computer Science can fulfill chemistry graduate course requirements.

The Computer Science Department at the University of Virginia is one of the top departments for research in experimental systems. We believe that it is vital to construct prototypes to validate ideas and hypotheses. In addition, we are building strength on the theoretical side with recent and future faculty hires. Our faculty are engaged in multiple diverse areas of research. Three major areas in which our faculty and students have made substantial research contributions are wireless sensor networks, grid computing, and dependable and secure software.
